JULY SUMMER PARTIES IN LE MARAIS |

Bonjour PARISMARAIS Readers, The next days will be full of events, concerts, and different entertainment in the Marais. The “Soirs d’Eté” festival, organized by the 3rd arrondissement’s City Hall kicked off in grand style last Saturday with great concerts celebrating 25 years of official friendship between Berlin and Paris. The new pedestrian place de la République has been converted into a major concert and “biergarten” (open air pub) space. Stalls offered many opportunities to create contacts and exchanges between Paris and Berlin. This first event took place on the 6th of July in the new Place de la République, which proved to be a great location for future open air parties and concerts. The upcoming festivities start up again on Monday the 8th of July. Every night brings a new concert on place de la République until the final event : Bastille Day ball. To close the 2013 edition of the Summer Evenings Festival, a grand ball will be held on July 13, hosted by the musical group Dial Show. The ball will be animated with their pop music, with refreshments available from the open air bars in front of the 3rd district’s City Hall and in the rue Spuller. The perfect place to party until dawn! More information. On both the 13th and 14th of July, our team will show our gratitude to Paris Firemen by being present at their yearly events. There is no question that «Le Bal des Pompiers», is one the most popular parties in Paris. Every July, fire stations across Paris turn up the heat and become the hottest dance parties around. The Paris firemen are handsome, smiling, and welcoming. The fact that they also save lives contributes to their popularity with Parisians and visitors. In both courtyards, live DJs will play hits from the 90’s as well as classic disco. The crowd is always a fabulous mix of military, firemen, local residents, tourists, couples, and young people, all tossed together for two unforgettable nights in a fun ambiance that you cannot find anywhere but at the Sévigné fire station.
We highly encourage you to give to the firemen’s charities, donate to help maintain and restore the beautiful Hotel de Chavigny, and give generously to the ADOSPP, the association that takes care of injured firemen and their families. Before enjoying the most fabulous fireworks at the Eiffel Tower on Bastille Day, spend at least a couple of hours at the Hotel de Chavigny with our friends « les pompiers ». You won’t regret it !
