Autumn in Le Marais and the Loire Valley

You’re still in time to enjoy the best month for photography shows in Paris as well as secret gardens of the Marais and other gorgeous places in France; the beautiful foliage in a rainbow of bright colours ranging from red and orange to gold is quite a sight to behold.
 
Our team went to the Loire Valley not long ago in order to scope out one of the best places to go for a few days in the country not too far from Paris yet worlds away. We stayed in the fabulous beautiful Château de la Bourdaisière in Touraine, enjoyed exploring its vast gardens of flowers and collection of over 600 varieties of tomatoes and sitting by the fire at night sipping a glass of Vouvray pétillant (the local delicious sparkling wine ). Next year, we’ll cover the opening of the annual tomato festival held by its owner, Prince Louis Albert de Broglie, nicknamed the Prince Gardener for his extremely green thumb.
 
We also visited the lovely Château de Chenonceau, enjoyed gourmet meals for a fraction of Paris prices, unearthed private vineyards for wine- tastings, generally just relaxed and took advantage of the fresh air and slower pace of healthy country living.

We ended our trip at the Garden Festival of Chaumont-sur-Loire where we had a warm welcome from the Communication Team…
