Lions Club Christmas Market in Le Marais

A welcome by Father Christmas himself, nearly 60 creative craftsmen from France, gift ideas as varied as they are original for young and old – arts and crafts, wooden toys, jewellery, clothing for adults and children, unusual objects, paintings, decoration… Hot drinks and home-made pastries, a warm atmosphere, all in one of the emblematic places of the Marais district... Welcome to  the 17th edition of the Christmas Market organised with the support of the Mairie de Paris Centre by the volunteers of the Lions Club Ile de la Cité, Halle des Blancs Manteaux, 48 rue Vieille du Temple, from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 December. The icing on the festive cake is that this market, unlike any other, is organised for the benefit of the causes defended by the organising Lions Club: treatment of childhood cancer, screening for diabetes, prevention of blindness, the fight against hunger and preservation of the environment. It will also benefit the actions carried out by the Club with the Town Hall of ¨Paris Centre as a "Partner in the City": young people in difficulty, isolated elderly people, homeless people. To make Christmas a celebration for all, come in great numbers to combine the useful with the pleasant, generosity with pleasure!
